Craigavon Travellers Support Commitee

Since 1989 CTSC works to support Irish Travellers, which typically consists of 60 - 80 families (250 people) at any one time. Travellers are among the most disadvantaged and marginalised people living in the Craigavon area. They can face multiple deprivations concerning health and well-being, housing, education, racism, mortality and discrimination. CTSC works toward achieving integration and cohesion by undertaking focused work in the areas of Education, Community Development, Welfare Rights and Health. Currently CTSC offers Family Support Service providing advice, information and advocacy on issues such as housing, benefits and health. Children &Young People's programmes run also.
